Hard cheese starting to dry out? Enjoy this fun refreshing snack, suitable for any time of day

Ingredients for about 20 rings:

100 gr butter

120 gr grated parmesan cheese (or any hard cheese you have in the refrigerator, mixing is possible)

100 gr white flour

1 egg yolk

1 tbsp milk

Pinch of salt

Preparation:

Heat oven to 150 degrees, remove butter from the refrigerator and leave it to slightly soften.

Cream butter, flour, 100 gr of the hard cheese and salt, until all ingredients combine to receive smooth and homogeneous dough.

Place parchment paper on a baking tray.

Take half a tablespoon of dough, roll to a thin tube, connect the edges and attach them to create a ring.

Lightly beat egg yolk with milk, spread on the rings and sprinkle with the leftover cheese crumbs.

Put the baking tray in the refrigerator for a few minutes to prevent expanding of the rings.

Remove the tray from the refrigerator and bake for approximately 12 minutes.

Take the tray out of the oven and place the rings on a cooling rack before gobbling them down…
